iOS Devices IMAP Configuration

Guide for iOS Devices: iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

  1. Go into the Settings icon.

  2. Scroll down to Mail

  3. Select Accounts.

  4. Select Add Account.

  5. Select Other.

  6. Select Add Mail Account.

  7. Enter in your Name - (Ex: Jane Doe)

  8. Enter your email address - (Ex: janedoe@sctv.coop or janedoe@mounet.com)

  9. Enter a Description - (Ex: SCTV Email or Mounet Email)

  10. Select Save.

You may also need these additional settings:

  • Under the Incoming Mail Server, add the following:

    • Host Name:​

      • If your email ends with @mounet.com:​

        • mail.mounet.com​

      • If your email ends with @sctv.coop

        • mail.sctv.coop​

    • Username: Your email address - (Ex: janedoe@mounet.com or janedoe@sctv.coop)

    • Password: Your email account password.

  • Select Save.

Android Device Email Setup

Guide for most Android devices.

  1. Open the Gmail app and navigate to the Settings section.

  2. Select Add Account

  3. Select Personal (IMAP/POP) and select Next.

  4. Choose the type of email account you will be using:

    • IMAP will store the emails on the server and show a copy on your device. IMAP is the best in most cases.​

  5. Enter the password for your email account and tap Next.

Incoming Server Settings

  1. Username: Enter your full email address

  2. Password: Enter the password for your email account

  3. Server: mail.sctv.coop or mail.mounet.com

  4. Port and Security Type:

    • If you are using IMAP, please choose either:​

      • Secure - Port 993 and Security Type: SSL/TLS​

      • Insecure - Port 143 and Security Type: None

Outgoing Server Settings

  1. Select Require Sign-In

  2. Username: Enter your full email address

  3. Password: Enter the password for your email account

  4. Server: mail.sctv.coop or mail.mounet.com

  5. Port and Security Type:

    • Secure - Port 587 and Security Type: SSL/TLS​

    • Insecure - Port 25 and Security Type: None

  6. Once the settings are entered, select Next.

Windows Mail Setup

Setup Guide for the default Windows Mail application.

  1. Click the Windows button in the task bar and search "Mail."

  2. When Mail opens for the first time, you will get an "Add an account" screen, simply choose "Other account (IMAP/POP)"

  3. After clicking Other account, it will prompt you to enter your email address, name, and email account password. Once you enter this information, click Next or Sign In.

  4. If Windows Mail wasn't able to automatically configure the account, you will receive another window to enter additional information.

    • Email Address​

    • Username: Your full email address

    • Password: Your email account password

    • Account Name: SCTV Email or Mounet Email

    • Send your messages using this name: Your Full Name

    • Incoming email server:

      • If your email ends with @mounet.com:​

        • mail.mounet.com​

      • If your email ends with @sctv.coop

        • mail.sctv.coop

    • Account type: IMAP4

    • Outgoing (SMTP) email server:

      • If your email ends with @mounet.com:​

        • mail.mounet.com​

      • If your email ends with @sctv.coop:

        • mail.sctv.coop​

    • Please check the following boxes:

      • Outgoing server requires authentication​

      • Use the same user name and password for sending email

      • Require SSL for incoming email

      • Require SSL for outgoing email

  5. Click Sign in

Outlook 2019 Setup

Setup Guide for the Outlook 2019 application.

  1. Open Outlook. If this is the first time you have opened Outlook, you will be directed to the new account wizard.

  2. When the Welcome to Outlook 2019 box opens, enter your email address and click Advanced Options.

  3. Check the box for the option Let me set up my account manually and then click Connect.

  4. In the Choose account type window, select IMAP.

  5. Enter the following settings, then click Next:

    • Incoming mail:​

      • Server:​

        • If your email ends with @mounet.com​:

          • mail.mounet.com​

        • If your email ends with @sctv.coop:​​

          • mail.sctv.coop​

      • Port: 993

      • Encryption method: SSL/TLS

      • Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): Unchecked

    • Outgoing mail:​

      • If your email ends with @mounet.com​:

        • mail.mounet.com​

      • If your email ends with @sctv.coop:​​

        • mail.sctv.coop

      • Port: 587

      • Encryption Method: STARTTLS

      • Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): Unchecked

  6. Click Next

  7. Enter your email account password, then click Connect.
