Customer Service Representative Position
Scott County Telephone Cooperative is seeking a proficient, self-motivated, and detail-oriented person to work in our Customer Service Department as a Full-Time Customer Service Representative. This position reports to the Executive Vice-President of Finance and Operations.
Education and Experience: An Associate’s Degree or equivalent job experience is preferred.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Responsible for customer service tasks such as processing requests for new services, making changes to existing services and being the front line of support for customers’ questions and problems.

Perform data entry tasks on a regular basis.

Receive and process payments.

Perform administrative duties as assigned.

The preferred candidate must have the following qualifications:

Proficient in cash handling

Previous office and customer service experience
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment

Working knowledge of the outside plant is a plus.
