Customer Service Representative Position

Scott County Telephone Cooperative is seeking a proficient, self-motivated, and detail-oriented person to work in our Customer Service Department as a Full-Time Customer Service Representative. This position reports to the Executive Vice-President of Finance and Operations.

 

Education and Experience: An Associate’s Degree or equivalent job experience is preferred.

 

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for customer service tasks such as processing requests for new services, making changes to existing services and being the front line of support for customers’ questions and problems.

  • Perform data entry tasks on a regular basis.

  • Receive and process payments.

  • Perform administrative duties as assigned.

  • The preferred candidate must have the following qualifications:

    • Proficient in cash handling

    • Previous office and customer service experience

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines

    • Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment

    • Working knowledge of the outside plant is a plus.
